GENERAL PRESENTATION OF DUTIES
The store keeper will report directly to the storage manager and will be based in the storage site in the port of Kribi. He will be in charge of managing the inventory of spare parts for the entire logistic chain operated by the company.
He must have good verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
DETAILED TASKS
As part of your employment, you will be responsible of:
- Issuing and filing the purchase order issued by the different departments for spare parts and consumables.
- Liaising with the admin assistant for the local purchase of the goods required and the clearing through customs of the imported parts.
- Be responsible for the receipt of items in the inventory, monitoring and recording of entries on stock card as well as recording exit movements.
- Participate in inventory stock taking on a monthly basis and reporting figures to the chief accountant.
